One of your students is applying for admission to the Sewanee Young Writers' Conference and has identified you to write a recommendation on his or her behalf. The Sewanee Young Writers' Conference is a two-week residential creative writing conference for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors at The University of the South.
Please complete your recommendation form as soon as possible. The review of applications is under way, and we would like all materials by February 25. Offers of admission will be made on a rolling basis until all the workshops are full. No application will be considered for acceptance until the recommendation form has been received. To ensure that your recommendation form is correctly matched with your student's Conference application, please identify your student by providing the first name, last name and email address exactly as shown in the email we sent you (with the subject line), Sewanee Young Writers' Conference Recommendation. Once you successfully submit your recommendation form, you will receive a confirmation email from sywc@sewanee.edu. If you don't receive that email within 24 hours of submitting your recommendation form please check your spam or junk mailbox. If you still can't find it, please email sywc@sewanee.edu so we can check to see if it was successfully received.
